Yes, it's been a while since I've updated. I still have extreme difficulty

reaching my goals for calories, carbs and protein. I'm certain my body is working to stabilize at my current set point (my caloric requirement necessary to maintain my current weight and energy level). Changes that I have noticed so far include a slight loss in endurance with upper body exercises, a major loss in strength and energy when doing heavy (for me anyway) leg exercises, and a somewhat diminished appetite. Out of curiosity I did step on the scale Monday night and my weight has dropped a solid four pounds.

I have not felt any urge to quit the experiment ahead of schedule. I have no problems being around foods that I am avoiding for the month. Saturday night was a test of discipline, since we went to a party that had pizza as the main entree, and beer, amongst other things I'm not consuming this month, or usually avoid most of the time. I did prepare ahead by making sure I ate enough before we left home. The same principle people trying to lose fat need to practice before going to parties around the holidays.

Here's a brief update on my nutritional stats for the past several days:

Tuesday the 9th: 2258 calories (69%), 67 g fat, o mg cholesterol, 1834 mg sodium, 367 g carbs, 154 g sugars, 73 g fiber, 79 g protein

Wednesday 10th: 2499 calories (75%), 117 g fat, o mg cholesterol, 2456 mg sodium, 334 g carbs, 148 g sugars, 60 g fiber, 83 g protein

Thursday 11th: 2727 calories (83%),134 g fat, o mg cholesterol, 1331 mg sodium, 351 g carbs, 154 g sugars, 54 g fiber, 75 g protein

Friday 12th: 2359 calories (72%), 99 g fat, o mg cholesterol, 1171 mg sodium, 321 g carbs, 113 g sugars, 55 g fiber, 77 g protein

Saturday 13th: 2155 calories (65%), 127 g fat, o mg cholesterol, 507 mg sodium, 238 g carbs, 100 g sugars, 34 g fiber, 51 g protein

Sunday 14th: 2335 calories (71%), 137 g fat, o mg cholesterol, 962 mg sodium, 250 g carbs, 120 g sugars, 57 g fiber, 71 g protein

Monday 15th: 1756 calories (53%), 67 g fat, o mg cholesterol, 1234 mg sodium, 268 g carbs, 159 g sugars, 37 g fiber, 50 g protein

Tuesday 16th: 1996 calories (61%), 86 g fat, o mg cholesterol, 2549 mg sodium, 270 g carbs, 119 g sugars, 48 g fiber, 64 g protein
